Payment Policies:
Canada's 5% Goods & Services Tax (GST) and a $5 per person rafting regulatory fee applies
on all trips (unless otherwise indicated). To reserve your trip, we require a deposit
of 50% per person (for bookings more than 60 days out) or full payment (for bookings less than 60 days from the trip). If you have paid a deposit the balance of your payment is
due 14 days prior to departure.
Cancelling or Changing Your Trip:
For most trips a "cancellation refund guarantee" can be purchased for $10 per person. This guarantee allows you to cancel your trip up to 24 hours in advance of your departure and still receive a full refund. Without the cancellation refund guarantee our adventures are non-refundable within 30 days of departure.
We reserve the right to cancel
any trip at any time for any reason if the quality
of the trip or the safety of travellers is judged
to be compromised. In such a case, refund of payments
received shall constitute
full settlement. We cannot assume
responsibility for any loss incurred on account of
such cancellations. If, as occasionally happens, we
must cancel a trip because there are too few participants,
we will attempt to notify you 10 days before your
departure.
Eligibility:
We require that travellers be at least 5 years of
age on most trips and 13 years of age for all class IV trips.
Our trips entail risks - and rewards - beyond those
encountered at home. Our trips are a kind of partnership
with travellers. Our primary objective is to show
you the wilderness and take the hassle out of a great
travel experience. In return, we count on people to
ensure they are healthy and fit; to read our pre-trip
materials about clothing, training, medical requirements.
By sending a deposit toward your trip purchase
you certify that you do not have any physical
condition, allergies or disability that would
create a hazard for you or other travelers.
